A dog can express more with his tail in minutes than an owner can express with his tongue in hours.
Katy Hayden has dedicated her adult life to learning about and helping canines. She has received degrees in Animal Science and Psychology from the University of Vermont. During her studies there, she worked at a dog daycare, gaining experience first as a daycare attendant and then as a trainer.
After completing her degrees, Katy spent 6 months working for the Wolf Education and Research Center in Idaho. Katy now volunteers at All Breed Rescue in Williston, VT, where she trains dogs before and after adoption to increase adoptability and quality of life.
Katy is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. She provides training services in the Burlington area while studying with trainers both locally and around the country.
In her down time, Katy enjoys reading and hiking with her dog Cajun. She also volunteers as an EMT in Richmond, VT.
